Is this just a generic AI chatbot, or something more?

BodyMap is not a generic AI. Our system was specifically trained on a proprietary dataset built by our team of certified nutritionists, strength & conditioning coaches and a sports medicine physician over more than a year.

Unlike a chatbot that pulls from general internet knowledge, every recommendation BodyMap makes traces directly back to evidence-based protocols designed by credentialed professionals with decades of combined experience.

Think of it as having one of our experts build your plan — just instantly, and available to everyone.
Who are the experts behind BodyMap?

Our team includes a Registered Dietitian with an MSc in Human Nutrition, a NSCA-Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with a background in professional sports, and a Sports Medicine Physician who reviews all protocols for clinical safety.

Together they bring over 40 years of combined experience working with everyone from elite athletes to everyday people seeking sustainable lifestyle change.

Is it safe to follow an AI-generated nutrition plan?

Yes — for the vast majority of healthy adults. Every BodyMap plan is generated within safety boundaries established by our sports medicine advisor. The system automatically checks for dangerous calorie thresholds, nutrient deficiencies, and contraindications based on your input.

However: if you have a diagnosed medical condition, are pregnant, or are on medication that affects metabolism, we strongly recommend consulting your GP or a registered dietitian before following any nutrition plan — including ours.

How is the AI updated? Could my plan be outdated?

Our experts conduct monthly reviews of all plan outputs, anonymised outcome data and new peer-reviewed research. When evidence warrants an update, the AI protocols are revised accordingly.

This means every plan you receive reflects current best practice — not something built years ago and left to gather dust.

Does a human review my specific plan before it's sent?

Individual plans are not manually reviewed before delivery — that's what allows us to deliver them instantly and affordably. However, the entire system your plan is built on was designed, validated and is continuously maintained by our expert team.

Our experts didn't review your plan. They designed the rules that generate it — and they tested those rules against hundreds of scenarios before launch.

What exactly does my plan include?

Your BodyMap plan is a complete 7-day PDF covering:

• 3 meals + 1–2 snacks per day, with calories and full macro breakdown
• Detailed recipes with exact quantities and preparation instructions
• A weekly shopping list organised by category
• A 7-day training programme with exercises, sets, reps, rest times and session notes
• Daily hydration and sleep guidelines
• A brief explanation of the calorie and macro targets chosen for your goal

How quickly will I receive my plan?

Typically within 5–10 minutes of completing your questionnaire and payment. You'll receive an email with your PDF attached. If it hasn't arrived within 15 minutes, check your spam folder.

If you still haven't received it after 30 minutes, contact us at support@bodymap.health and we'll sort it immediately.

Can I request a revised plan if I'm not happy?

Yes. If your plan doesn't feel right — wrong calorie level, meals that don't suit you, training that doesn't match your equipment — email us within 7 days and we'll generate a revised version at no extra charge.

Simply tell us what needs adjusting and we'll update your questionnaire data and regenerate.

What if I want a new plan after 7 days?

Each plan is a one-off purchase for just $4.88. You can order a brand-new personalised plan any time — simply fill in the questionnaire again with your updated stats and goals. Many clients re-order every 4 weeks as their body and targets evolve.

Is the plan suitable for couples or families?

Each plan is personalised to one individual's body metrics and goals. For couples or families, each person would need their own plan — since calorie targets, macro splits and training loads differ significantly based on body composition, goals and activity level.

How precise are the calorie and macro calculations?

We use the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR calculation, adjusted with an appropriate activity multiplier, then apply a goal-specific offset (deficit for fat loss, surplus for muscle gain). This is the same methodology used by registered dietitians.

All macro calculations follow published recommendations from the ISSN (International Society of Sports Nutrition). Calorie counts on individual meals are calculated from standard USDA food composition data.

No calorie calculator is perfect — real metabolism varies. Treat your targets as a starting point and adjust by ±100 kcal based on results after 2 weeks.
🥗 Nutrition
Can the plan accommodate my allergies or intolerances?

Yes. During the questionnaire you'll specify any allergies or intolerances (dairy, gluten, eggs, nuts, fish), and the AI will completely exclude those ingredients from every meal in your plan — not just swap them with obvious alternatives.

If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, please double-check ingredient lists carefully as cross-contamination risks in recipes cannot be guaranteed.

I'm vegan / vegetarian. Will the protein targets still be met?

Yes. Our nutrition protocols include specific plant-based protein strategies developed by our dietitian. Vegan and vegetarian plans use complete protein combinations (legumes + grains, tofu, tempeh, seitan, nutritional yeast etc.) to hit the same protein targets as omnivore plans.

Micronutrient considerations (B12, iron, zinc, omega-3) are also factored into meal composition for plant-based plans.

Do the meals use everyday ingredients or exotic superfoods?

We intentionally designed our meal database around common supermarket ingredients — nothing that requires a specialist shop or an enormous budget. You'll find things like chicken, eggs, rice, oats, sweet potato, salmon, lentils and seasonal vegetables.

The focus is on nutrient density and taste, not trend ingredients. Real food that's easy to source, prep and enjoy.

Should I take supplements alongside my plan?

BodyMap plans are designed to be nutritionally complete from whole foods alone. Supplements are not required.

That said, your plan may note optional supplementation suggestions (e.g. creatine monohydrate for muscle gain, vitamin D in winter) where the evidence is strong. These are always clearly marked as optional, not required.

Can I swap meals I don't like?

Your plan includes a swap guide in the appendix — a list of nutritionally equivalent alternatives for each meal category (breakfast swaps, lunch swaps etc.) so you can maintain your targets while eating food you actually enjoy.

For a fully custom alternative, you can also note your dislikes in the questionnaire before ordering, and we'll avoid them entirely.

🏋️ Training
I don't have a gym membership. Can I still use BodyMap?

Absolutely. During the questionnaire you select your available equipment — including bodyweight only (no equipment at all) or home + dumbbells. Your training plan will be built entirely around what you actually have access to.

Bodyweight programmes are fully progressive — they're not just "do some push-ups." They use advanced bodyweight techniques to create meaningful training stimulus at every level.

I'm a complete beginner. Is the training too advanced for me?

No. You'll select your experience level in the questionnaire (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced), and your programme will be calibrated accordingly. Beginner plans focus on learning movement patterns, building a base and avoiding injury — not maximal load.

Every exercise in a beginner plan includes a brief technique note so you know exactly how to perform it safely.

What if I can only train 2 days a week?

Totally fine. You can select between 2 and 7 training days per week. A 2-day programme will use full-body sessions to maximise the training stimulus with minimal frequency — still highly effective for fat loss and muscle maintenance.

Training 3–4 days is optimal for most goals, but consistent 2-day training beats inconsistent 5-day training every time.

Does the training plan include cardio?

It depends on your goal. Fat loss plans include a combination of strength training and cardio (steady-state and/or HIIT). Muscle gain plans focus primarily on resistance training with minimal cardio to protect calorie surplus. Maintenance plans include a balanced mix.

Cardio is programmed as optional or mandatory based on your goal — and always integrated with your nutrition targets to ensure you're not undoing your calorie calculations.

💳 Payment & Delivery
What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods through our secure Shopify checkout: Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and PayPal. All transactions are encrypted and processed by Stripe — the same payment provider used by Amazon and Google.

Is my payment and personal data secure?

Yes. Payment is processed entirely by Shopify Payments / Stripe — BodyMap never sees or stores your card details. Your personal health data (body metrics, goals, allergies) is encrypted, used only to generate your plan, and never sold to third parties.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@bodymap.health.

Can I get a refund?

Because BodyMap plans are digital products delivered immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds as a standard policy once the plan has been delivered.

However — if you're genuinely unhappy with your plan for any reason, email us within 7 days and we will either revise your plan or issue a full refund at our discretion. We want every customer to be satisfied.

How do I cancel my monthly subscription?

You can cancel your Pro or Premium subscription at any time — no questions asked — by logging into your account or emailing support@bodymap.health. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

What format is the plan delivered in?

Your plan is delivered as a professionally formatted PDF document, emailed directly to the address you provided during checkout. It's designed to be readable on screen (phone, tablet, laptop) and printable if you prefer a paper copy.

The PDF is yours to keep forever — no app download, no account login, no expiry date.

Pro tip: Save it to Google Drive or iCloud for easy access anywhere.
